Give it Time

Image
Written by Zubby Evans When someone tells you he can't live without you, he loves you the way you are and can put up with your good and bad attitude; before you commit your heart, please GIVE IT TIME. When You just met someone today and feel like marrying him/her tomorrow; before you say "I do", remember you need to GIVE IT TIME.     When you see a new church in town and you hear their waves, before you conclude about how "hot" they are,  first GIVE IT TIME. When you are in a cross road of decisions, you don't know what to do, ask the people or persons who have been involved in it before. It means, GIVE IT TIME! You can be good at giving people tests and trying to know who they are; some people know how to pass them all, but at the test of time they fail. Time tests Love and proves it. Time tests businesses and authenticates it. Time tests spirituality and reveals it. Time, a good tester. Has anyone told you you are worthless and

Meet The Coordinator- HOPE FOUNDATION NIGERIA.

Image
Moshood Muhammed is the Coordinator of Hope Foundation Nigeria, an initiative that believes in the Nigerian Youths by promoting and empowering them. He is from Ogun State, Nigeria and is passionate about setting things right in the country, which is why he believes the youths of Nigeria have a major role to play. He runs a personal blog where he sensitizes the youths through powerful and thoughtful articles. As the head of Hope Foundation team, he hopes to see a better Nigeria. The interview How did you begin the Hope Foundation? Overtime, I’ve always thought of how best to reach out to the youths; serve the interest of my people, even while I was still in school. Many challenges, products of the inadequacies in the Nigerian system made it impossible. After I had left school, I was not interested in backing out. Before I left school, I had been working on it. Then, the idea occurred to me on my last birthday, to channel my strength and passion towards this direction and he

THINK AGAIN...

Image
I mage source- pixabay  My mother would say giving things a second thought is a good habit. And there's an Igbo adage that says... oji nwayo eje adighi emeru ahu  which means that whoever takes things easy, doesn't always get hurt. But it hurts me to see how we quickly rush into things without even giving them a second thought. So this one's for my fellow Nigerian youths; the supposed leaders of today whom I think have started to lose their ways and have willingly given in to things capable of stealing our future from us. I'll start with the latest development in the country today- ponzi schemes. Although I'd say that it has always been there, but in the recent times, it has gained huge popularity and eventually succeeded in stealing the hearts of the youths. So let's analyze it- ponzi schemes as Wikipedia defines it are fraudulent investment operations where the operator, an individual or organization pays returns to it's investors from

My Happy Ending

Image
It might seem awkward, yes I know that..but I am still hoping and working to get my happy ending....did I just say my happy ending? Yes! The happy ending that I am expecting is not the kind you might have on your mind right now, I mean that included but it doesn't end there, definitely not!  I like to say that my life is different..different from everyone else's. And it kind of feels good to be different. The minute you start to think outside the wall, to do things differently, to truly be yourself and get loose into the world of your own, your creativity, authenticity and relevance emerges. Sometimes the problem we often have is not that we're afraid to be the odd man out, but in accepting who we really are. I'm not saying this because I'm a woman and I...well, as a woman I'm expected to get  a nice young man and have a lovely family which should be my happy ending..well it goes beyond that, because I hope to see my dreams come true, my hard

MY BEST FRIEND Written by Lillian Ugwu Friends like no other Where I go, you go Where I walk, you walk Where I stand, you stand When I run, you add to my speed  When I'm messed up, you're messed up too When I sweat, you sweat Both of us  Wet in the rain  Hot in the sun  And cold at winter You are always there Doesn't matter what mood I'm in  You see my pain, I see yours The sounds of your footsteps  Like that of my favorite ring tone  That fills my heart with joy  But time forbids you to stay  So I'm holding on   To the memories of you and I  Love the friendship we shared  But most of all, I love you  My best friend, my RED SHOE.  OUR DREAMS Written by Precious Eminent When we were younger We wished for a better life Life filled with laughter and pleasure Life without conflicts, pain, anger, hatred We were only but little dreamers  Who never stopped dreaming Other times we start

Right on the way I was extremely pressed, and I had been managing but, this time I couldn't... I had to stop driving. I packed my car at one side of the road and opened my car door. Then I squatted at one side of the road, almost about to release H20 turned urine, I noticed a small sized Car packed few meters away, apparently Someone was doing the same thing I yearned for, only for one odd thing.    ***She was already bent to do her business when I saw a man behind her with a matchete in his hands about to strike.
